this is the bush were the female protagonist was hidding and this shows that she was hidding from someone who is is afraid off.
our cast

Janet Kamara is playing the felame protagonist. she will be acting as the first character in the beginnning of the clip. Janet was a friend of us who volunteered to be our actress as we were in desperate need of an actress due to one member of our group who left.

jackline boateng helped played the male protagonist part. even though she was a female it worked out quite well because we planned not to show the face of our male protagonist.

changes

when filming wer realised that certain shots that we planned off using in the film was a quite complicated due to that we had to make some changes and as a result our film slightly diverted from the story board and shooting script. for example the shooting script we said that the first shot would be a tracking shot female protagonist feets whiles running. this was the first part that we drew in our story board but when it came to the actual filming of the feet we found it difficult without the shot looking messy and not soo right. instead we used an establishing shot to show the audience the location (mise en scene)

although we mentioned that the title of the film will will show up first along with a mysterious music we were not able to do this as we were told no copy right music are allowed in our fim. when editing we decided to use the establishing shot to be our first sceen and showed the credits using a vidoe transition known as 'dip to black' to help us link the credits to the openning of the film.

reasons why we had to make so many changed in such a little time was due to one of our group member who left the course and the group unexpectedly. her leaving the group had a lot of impact on our filming because we planned to use her back garden to do the filming and her firends as our actors and actresses. this was no longer possible for us so we the reat of the group had to nake a quite decision of the location and plus who were going to be out actors and actresses.

encounters faced

In the process of getting ready to do our filming, one of our group members dropped out of school which made things really difficult for the rest of the group as most of the things that we needed for our filming dependend on her because we were using her garden as the location and the cast were meant to be her friends. So as a result we had to go back and make a few changes to the film treatment, we had to find a new location and a new cast.

Opening credits
Most thriller films have ways of drawing the audience in from the very start through the opening credits alone. for example minority report, at the beginning of this film the credits appear in capital letters and have a watery effect this creates a mysterious setting and leaves the audience to ponder on how water may link to the story line or the characters in the film.· Another thriller film which has an interesting credit opening is funny games in this movie the credits appear in red letters, which automatically is a warring sign and predicts future danger.· Psycho – in this movie the credits appear to be broken up, which could represent the character being broken up

Sound/ music
Although there are many thriller movies with captivating opening credits there are various thriller movies with simple openings such as panic room and gothika however a common trend with thriller movies is that if the credits appear in a simple manner the music played (non – diegetic sound) tells a story, by this I mean, that music sets the scene and creates a mysterious environment. A common instrument used in thriller movies is the violin and in some cases the piano.· An example of a film where a violin is used in the opening credits is ‘psycho’ one of the first thriller movies , made in 1960.· Another example is Gothika – in this movie violins are played and thunder is heard
